Meet Chloe Bucke – How CHU has provided me with career and personal growth.

Chloe Bucke is CHU’s Account Manager within WA Business Development team. Chloe's career at CHU commenced as an Underwriter within the NSW Underwriting Team, based in Sydney. Over the span of 2017 to 2019, she developed her skills within the underwriting team, firstly as an Assistant Underwriter, then progressing to Underwriter, which has helped craft a solid foundation of knowledge within CHU. After a brief hiatus, Chloe returned to CHU in 2020, and with the flexible working model, decided to make a career and life changing move to WA at the beginning of 2023. Here is what Chloe had to say about Life at CHU.

“With three years of underwriting experience under my belt, I was keen to try something new, to challenge myself and develop new skills.

Ambition, Adventure and Advancement

When the role came up as an Account Manager within the WA Business Development team, I recognised this as an opportunity, not only to further develop my career but also for a life adventure of moving to WA.

This decision was based on my commitment to embracing growth on all fronts. A deep desire to not only leverage my existing skills but also to acquire new ones, importantly – challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone.

I wanted to challenge myself, to expand my horizons, and to contribute in new and meaningful ways to CHU.

My experience as an Underwriter has undeniably been a solid foundation for success in my new role. The insights gained while navigating CHU's risk approach and client-centric solutions in the underwriting side of the business have proven invaluable as I embrace my responsibilities as an Account Manager.
