Apartment Insurance with CHU Contents Cover

Wondering if you need Contents insurance for your apartment, unit or townhouse?

If you live in a strata-titled property, strata insurance covers the building — but not your personal belongings.

If you live in a strata-titled property or a home within a community association , damage to the building and common areas, like gyms and pools, should be covered by strata or community association insurance, which generally is mandated in each state and territory.

However, to protect your own personal possessions, as well as cover against any potential liability claims, you need to consider Contents Insurance for within your residence.
