Environment and Sustainable Development

CHU has embraced environmental sustainability as a core pillar of our business for over five years.

In 2022, CHU took a significant step forward by becoming a signatory to the Strata Community Association’s Sustainability charter. As part of this commitment, CHU has adopted the United Nations Sustainability Goals (SDGs), a set of 17 global goals adopted by the UN General Assembly which aim to address the world’s most pressing challenges.

We’ve prioritised 8 of these goals which we believe align with our guiding principles and that will have the greatest positive impact within our industry and the built environment we operate in.

The PSF is an agreed amount between SGL and the relevant Partner, usually annually. The PSF is not determined by the volume of the business that the Steadfast Network brokers place, nor is the amount of the PSF known to the Steadfast Network Brokers, so it is not able to influence recommendations to their clients. CHU Underwriting Agencies may have access to shared services from SGL, including: compliance tools; procedures; manuals and training; legal; HR banking; and group purchasing arrangements. These services are funded by SGL, subsidised by SGL or SGL receives a fee for them.
