CHU launches Indicative Pricing feature to accelerate broker premium estimates
Offering brokers immediate visibility into premium estimates before referring risks to underwriting.
CHU, Australia's largest strata insurance underwriting agency, has introduced a new Indicative Pricing feature, a fast, non-binding price guide offering brokers immediate visibility into premium estimates before referring risks to underwriting.
Building on recent enhancements that removed the need for policy referral triggers and eliminated manual underwriting review in over 40,000 transactions, CHU has introduced the Indicative Pricing feature on its self-service platform. This feature gives brokers instant pricing insights, enabling faster decisions on proceeding with a formal underwriting referral. The result is faster quoting and greater transparency for customers.
“Our new indicative pricing feature is a game changer for brokers,” said CHU Chief Executive Officer Kimberley Jonsson. “Non-binding price guidance increases visibility and will dramatically speed up the broker’s quoting process.
“It helps brokers access the information they need, when they need it, so they can deliver better outcomes for their clients.”
“Wait times for final underwriting responses on risks is one of the most common pain points for brokers. By providing immediate price visibility, we’re helping brokers add more value for customers, and to spend more time talking to and supporting strata communities.”
Indicative Pricing joins CHU's suite of self-service capabilities designed to give brokers greater control and faster turnaround times.
