What’s included in the bike cover?
Your bicycle can be covered under CHU Contents Insurance policy. If you’d like protection for your bike while you're out and about, you can add the Portable Contents option to your contents cover for an additional premium. Are electric bikes covered?
Electric bicycles up to 200 watts and Pedelec bicycles (electric type that you can also pedal) up to 250 watts are covered under CHU Contents Insurance as long as they are not required by law to be registered. E-bikes requiring registration are excluded.

Are petrol-powered bikes or mopeds covered?
No. Mopeds and petrol-powered bicycles are excluded from CHU’s contents cover.
