Australia's leading strata insurance specialist outgrows old home
The continued success in recent years of CHU, Australia’s leading strata insurance specialist, has seen it outgrow its 20-year-old custom-built offices in Milsons Point, Sydney and moving to a larger, new home in North Sydney.
CHU celebrated its 40th anniversary last year and was a pioneer in strata insurance. It was originally based in old terrace houses in Milsons Point, Sydney. As the business gathered momentum in the late 80s it was decided to build an architecturally cutting edge apartment and office block on the site, The Quadrant. It has been CHU’s headquarters from 1999 until now.
“CHU has grown rapidly in recent times and this year is looking to be the best year in the company’s history” said CHU CEO Bobby Lehane. “With the success, and the expansion of our product lineup and innovation, the need to expand was vital so that we could continue to provide quality service to our customers.
“While we are respectful of the past and the wonderful years at Milsons Point, we are tremendously excited about the future, outgrowing our old headquarters is a great opportunity to bring the team together in an exciting new space” Mr Lehane said.
The new headquarters on Level 33, 101 Miller Street, North Sydney, will house more than 90 staff, as part of a nation-wide office network.
