Kim will host the event and provide CEO insights throughout the afternoon, reflecting on her observations of the day, and her message to the strata industry for the next twelve months. Kim will also drive a conversation to uncover maintenance reducing costs and allow David to share his experience.

David Barnes will present on how strata insurance pricing has evolved from simple rules to advanced AI models, and what informs premiums today. While building location is the biggest factor, scheme and owner behaviour—like maintenance, leak prevention and resilience upgrades—can influence premiums.

David will share his insights from a real-world claims case study, unpacking the complexities of the situation and the decision-making process that shaped the outcome. His reflections will highlight not only the technical aspects of claims handling but also the human factors that shaped the process.

Katherine will present the latest data and insights from the CHU Strata Index 2026, highlighting key trends shaping community living.
She will demonstrate how this research can be applied to better serve owners, strengthen decision-making, and guide the future of strata management and community living.
Registration will open from 1:30 pm.
Each event will be followed by networking canapes and drinks
