Hybrid Working Model

We are proud to have developed a Hybrid Working Model where our team members have control over where and when they work. It is not only important that our workforce of parents and carers can tap into flexible working to support their families, but also those that aren’t parents can access flexible working to achieve a healthier lifestyle and pursue their passions. For us, flexible working has become the standard way of working, whether that’s in the office or from home, work the way that suits you. Here are some examples from current team members:

Steve

Steve is our National Underwriting Manager and has a young family. He attributes the model to reduced stress levels. He no longer has to fight the commute or look at the clock to see if he will miss a commitment with his kids. He has also seen an improvement in his ability to manage his exercise and eat more healthily as a result.

Hayley is our Claims Manager based in QLD. Last year she went on parental leave and came back part time. With the introduction of our flexible work model she’s been able to agree a compressed work week which allows her to work five days in four, taking care of her baby on the fifth day and not having to settle for reduced income because of her caring responsibilities.

Carly is our People Advisor based in Sydney. When her husband got a job for the ACT fire service she was able to move so that he could accept the job and retain hers. Her husband has a new opportunity to move back to NSW for his job. They are also expecting a baby and they can make this move knowing that they don’t need to move to Sydney to allow Carly to continue her role.
