Steve Tchepak

Steve is Head of Underwriting at CHU Underwriting Agencies, a role he has held since 2019. With nearly 18 years at CHU across a range of underwriting roles, Steve has a profound understanding of how strata insurance policies are structured, priced and applied.

Before CHU, Steve spent over seven years as a Strata Manager, giving him genuine on-the-ground experience of the challenges facing owners corporations, lot owners, strata committees, brokers and strata managers. With close to 25 years of combined experience, he is uniquely placed to ensure the technical detail in every article is accurate and reflective of how strata insurance works in practice.
