David Gow

David is Head of Claims at CHU Underwriting Agencies. He oversees the claims function across CHU’s strata portfolio, bringing first-hand expertise in how policies respond at the point of claim – where it matters most to owners corporations, lot owners, strata committees, brokers and strata managers.

Before joining CHU, David held senior claims leadership roles at QBE Insurance and Cunningham Lindsey, building over 30 years of experience across strata and property insurance. He is also a member of the ANZIIF Claims Faculty Board, contributing to the advancement of claims practices across the industry. 

David is well placed to review articles and ensure the guidance provided is accurate, practical and grounded in real-world claims experience.
