Key appointment announcement

CHU, Australia’s leading strata insurance specialist, today announced the appointment of Renee Betton as NSW/ACT State Manager.

This follows the recent appointment of Kimberley Jonsson as CHU CEO. Ms Jonsson was previously the NSW/ACT State Manager.

Ms Betton has been with CHU for nine years in various customer service and underwriting roles. She was previously CHU Underwriting Manager NSW/ACT for over two years, leading CHU’s team of underwriters to provide insurance solutions to the strata market.

In her new role Ms Betton will be ultimately responsible for all NSW and ACT business and customers.

Ms Jonsson said: “Renee has extensive strata insurance experience and knowledge in what is a complicated part of the insurance industry. She has built strong relationships with CHU’s key clients and the transition will be seamless.“

“Renee’s appointment demonstrates the depth of CHU’s talent which enables it to focus on promotion from within,” said Ms Jonsson.

Ms Betton said: “I feel grateful for the experience I've gained at CHU and am very excited to lead our branch.”
